Printing OptionYou can, of course, print the whole page as it appears on screen by going to File > Print on the menu bar, or by choosing the print icon on the tool bar. However, this will give you a wasted strip down the left-hand side of your page. To eradicate this, select (highlight) the beginning of the piece you wish to print. Hold down the shift key and scroll to the end of the piece you wish to print, selecting (highlighting) the last letter or word. You will find that the entire piece you wish to print is now highlighted. We now copy this to Word or any other text-editor you may have on your machine. This would be one way of doing it.
Miraculously, your whole piece appears. Before you print it, you should delete any bits you don't want. You can also choose your width and font-size by making the appropriate selection from the menu bar. This is when you should also make sure that none of your hands are cut off by the page-break. When you have it all to your liking, after making sure
that the printer has paper in it, go to File > Print etc. |

This is a rare photograph of Ely Culbertson with his wife Josephine and his two children, in 1931, returning from a triumphant tour of England in which the English team had been soundly beaten. This victory cemented Culbertson's status as the leading contract bridge player in the world.
My webskills have deserted me at the moment and I
can't get these words where I want them on the page. |
