Supporting partner after she has opened one of a suit

Supporting partner is the S of SYN, the three choices that we have when responding to an opening bid of one of a suit.. Supporting means that you are happy with the suit proposed by opener, and you show this by lifting the contract to a higher level in that suit. How high you go will depend on how many points you have, so let's have a look at the various possibilities.
