to my friends, relatives, bridge students and anyone else who has
stumbled across this site by accident or design.
Its purpose is mainly to develop your understanding of the most fascinating card game in the world; to offer you insights into related aspects of the game that you may never have thought of', and, in particular, to present you with a tailor-made bridge-course to turn you from beginner to expert.
Most of the tutorial pages are designed to accompany my lectures on the subject, so that they may be regarded as suitable handouts for each topic. I am pleased to be able to offer a home consultancy service in which I can travel to people's homes or clubs and either talk through a specific topic , providing suitable practice hands, or be a fly on the wall during a regular rubber bridge session.
